The past several days were spent with two Bulgarians. Bulgaria was, in the past, run by a communist regime.
As children in school, we were rewarded gold stars for answering questions correctly, doing homework, etc.
My mom answered a question of one of the Bulgarians, by which he was impressed, he rewarded her with red dots.
Intense and hilarious.
